Fin de l'exposition au CINLB / End of the exhibit at the CINLB

Depuis la mi-décembre, l’exposition de photographies L’île Somerset : au pays des fantômes blancs était présentée au Centre d’interprétation de la nature du Lac Boivin (CINLB) à Granby, Québec. Ce matin, nous avons procédé à la désinstallation et avons ramené l’exposition à Ottawa puisque dès demain,elle sera installée à la galerie de Heartwood House (rue Chapel à Ottawa).

Since mid-December, the photo exhibit Somerset Island : white ghosts country was being presented at the Centre d’interprétation de la nature du Lac Boivin (CINLB) in Granby, Quebec. This morning, we took it down and brought it back to Ottawa as it is to be installed tomorrow at the Hearwood House Gallery (Chapel Street).

Dimanche après-midi, j’ai fait une petite visite incognito au CINLB question de jeter un dernier coup d’oeil à l’installation. Quelle agréable surprise d’y voir une bonne quinzaine de personnes s’arrêtées pour jeter un coup d’oeil aux photographies, prendre le temps de lire les textes explicatifs et de laisser un commentaire.

Sunday afternoon, I paid a quick visit to the CINLB to take a last look at the installation before taking it down. It sure was a nice surprise to see over fifteen persons take time to look at the photographs, read the texts and write some comments in the guest book.
