Nunavik (meaning «the place where to live») occupies the part of the Quebec territory lying north of the 55th parallel. The 11 000 inhabitants are dispersed in 15 coastal villages which do not have any road link between them. In 2009, we had the opportunity to visit Kuujjuaq, Nunavik's administrative center.
