Southport

In 2003, we had the chance to be at the right place at the right time. An iceberg, which had entered the Southwest Arm of Trinity Bay a month earlier, had moved during the night and positionned itself just behind the small village of Southport. People were coming from the neighbouring towns to admire the sight. A day later, the iceberg broke into two pieces and two weeks later, a day before our second stop, it split again in a thunder which the locals are not about to forget.
